It’s exhilarating to be in tandem with nature, which is why plein air painting (painting outdoor scenery) seems such a natural fit and progression of my work. I enjoy racing the clock to capture the exact moment before the landscape changes, it presents a welcomed challenge. Dynamic color is the essence of all my art, it’s also a great way to make the pieces more expressive.
